On a Quest for the Next Up & Coming Worship Leaders/Pastors

We are looking for a young, energetic couple (or individual) who wants to lead worship and be on staff at a church where God is writing His next great story.

This Assembly of God church re-vitalization in a suburb of Madison, WI, is two years in the making and just getting started on all that God has planned. Although Madison is thought to be one of the toughest places in the US to grow a church, we stay intentionally naïve to this and believe we serve a God who can do anything and has a heart to see all people come to know Him.

In just a short turnaround, Focus Church in Sun Prairie, WI, (www.findfocus.org) has more than doubled in size (from 80 to 180 active attendees) with over 50% actively engaged in Life Groups and has had over 100 people make decisions to put Jesus as the main character of their life’s story. This church is focused on being excellent at just a few things (hence the name) while keeping the main thing – helping people find God – the main thing. Our vision? We focus on helping people reach their next level with God. Our mission? Love God. Love People. Do Something. Come be a part of a team and family led by Lead Pastors, Ryan & ShaLe Foldhazi, who have a proven track record and passion for creative ministry, outside the box vision, and numerical growth.

What are we looking for exactly? The right couple (or individual) will…

Love God and have a desire to see Him do awesome things.
Be spirit-filled and spirit-led when leading worship.
Have a passion for people to know God and worship Him.
Have a craving for creative freedom and expression.
Be willing to get jobs in the community and become locals, interacting with those we are reaching.
Have a desire for church to be done the way it was meant to be.
Both (if a couple) love being on a team being team players and use their skills beyond music to advance the vision of the church. We all have something to offer.
Possess a worship style similar to River Valley Worship and a song selection from the likes of RVW, Young & Free, Urban Rescue, Passion, Mosaic, etc.
Have fashion sense and the confidence to display your own version of comfortable clothing (be a trendsetter!)
Have the ability to play a lead instrument like the acoustic guitar or keyboard – or hey… maybe both!! (Sorry… the ability to play bagpipes may be interesting but no bonus points are available for that!).
Possess the ability and desire to raise up and lead other musicians and singers. (Can you see and help bring out the best in people?)
Love to lead worship for both adult and youth services.
Have the expected technical knowledge of PCO, ProPresenter, and SongSelect.
Would understand sound systems and be able to train others (we are about to get a whole new digital system anchored by an X32)

Oh…and did you catch the part about young and energetic?

We are purposely looking for a young person/couple (18-30 years old) who are just starting out in ministry — maybe you just finished college, a school of ministry, or are currently serving at your church as an assistant worship pastor or worship intern. We want someone in your generation on our leadership team to give us your unique perspective. We believe this is a great opportunity for someone looking for a great place to grow with a church and be on an adventure.

This amazing opportunity is currently part-time with lots of room for growth as the church continues to grow. It is expected that you would get a job in the local area where there are tons of opportunities (Sun Prairie is busting at the seams with growth!).
